"Chillifunk Records kick-start their 25th Anniversary by welcoming New Zealand’s finest Soul-sista, Sandy Mill, back to the label with her hot new single, ‘Socials’. Oozing with soul from the get-go, Sandy delivers a smooth, heartfelt vocal about her love-hate relationship with social media, over a warm jazzy backdrop. 

Also on the package, Chillifunk label lads Lofty & Tom, aka L&T Project, aim their funky London NuSoul vibes squarely at the dance floor on their sublime Soul Common Remix.

Sandy Mill hails from Aotearoa (NZ) and is a singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, percussionist and Ngati Porou soul sister. She’s worked with the likes of The Basement Jaxx, Placebo, Boy George, and Notenshun, to name a few, and NZ legends including Pitch Black, Dick Johnson, Epsilon Blue, Neil Finn and more. Sandy’s 2018 debut EP, ‘A Piece Of Me’, hit the New Zealand Top 20. And the same year she was the finalist for Best Female Solo Artist at The Waiata Maori Music Awards. 

Sandy is currently producing and writing her new artist album and continues to work with SJD, New Telepathics, James Pinker & Tom Bailey and dance producer, DJ Dean Webb. As a DJ, you can find Sandy sharing her extensive vinyl collection on the Auckland DJ circuit, along with a Bi-weekly radio show called ‘The Taster’ on Base FM.

L&T Project is a collaboration bringing together, Tom Davidson (Casa Devi) and Lofty (East West Connection). Hailing from London UK. This project is a meeting of minds. Having worked together in various capacitys for over 20 years, this is the first artist collaboration between the two long-time friends. Expect futuristic soul for the dancefloor in many guises expanding your mind and moving your feet!"
