The new single "Lies" is a sneak preview of the forthcoming studio album of the Dutch combo expected in 2018 and is accompanied by an official video directed by The Tibbs’ vocalist Elsa Bekman. In the visuals we find the singer in a theatrical atmosphere, stuck in the role of a disheartened wife realizing it is time to give her life a twist and to fight back. As Elsa stated, “the video depicts the lyrics I wrote for the song: a woman breaking out her oppressive and frustrating routine of life”.
Based around Amsterdam and founded in 2012 by a bunch of deep funk and heavy soul disciples, The Tibbs made their debut on Record Kicks in 2015 with their acclaimed debut LP "Takin' Over".
