"Pistol Youth started as an experiment throughout 2007 when i was out on a Steriogram tour and realised that starting a new band probably wouldn't be something to happen any time soon.
So anyway i asked three of my mates from other bands around the world to help and we recorded a six track EP across the internet without the other members actually meeting..."
His band got $50,000 funding from NZ On Air in May 2007 for an album. It's been recorded in LA, apparently.
