Heard whispers a few weeks back about a new record store opening at the top of Mt Eden Rd. They are now open for business... Some info via Murray Cammick...
"SOUTHBOUND is at 69 Mt Eden Rd, near the Powerstation. They import lots of cool vinyl. CDs and DVDs into NZ and you can now see their range in a retail store. Labels they represent include Soul Jazz Records, Vampi Soul, Light in the Attic, Acid Jazz etc. The vinyl records will be new and sealed and store hours are Tues-Sat 10am to 5.30pm. And it's right near where Real Groovy once was a long time ago, before they shifted to the Queen st neighbourhood.
