Pig Out's 'Club Poems' album (out now on Pinacolada Records) is killer.Hot Wookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01538426670655163986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5726812.post-58471450788653483072006-12-11T20:30:00.000+13:002006-12-11T20:30:00.000+13:00peter - good work on putting all this together. Wish I'd known I could have sneaked some extra releases in there (like everyone else, cheats).
And, likewise, managed to submit something without a typo. I do hope we aren't relying on Scribe to reinvent pop hop... I enjoyed Cyphanetik and Mr Sicc's albums in that realm this year, heaps (though I don't consider myself knowledgable on that genre) :)Bob Daktarihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00737212571730352434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5726812.post-27825913953078218592006-12-10T15:07:00.000+13:002006-12-10T15:07:00.000+13:00Dubber, you're not wrong about Dr Tree. I think EMI own the masters, and I'm suprised its not been issued in their NZbudget line..but then I think they may have other things on their minds right now!Simonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09278183271703930217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5726812.post-58767762777051303332006-12-10T14:26:00.000+13:002006-12-10T14:26:00.000+13:00Tastemakers, or not, we still buy and listen to mu...Tastemakers, or not, we still buy and listen to music. That what's a'happenin' thing fades a little as you get older like many of those teen mindsets. Looking back is also valuable, it adds depth to culture, validates overlooked or under appreciated music and musicians. Music happens on many levels and it's the quality that ultimately counts not the race or colour of the performer. I echo Andrew Droidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01786024348802676943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5726812.post-71169460338000668232006-12-09T11:57:00.000+13:002006-12-09T11:57:00.000+13:00BTW don't you know any cool young brown people to ...BTW don't you know any cool young brown people to ask what their best of 06 and future predictions are ???
