The Tibbs - Dog Days video

From Record Kicks, off the groovy debut album from Dutch outfit The Tibbs:

"The Tibbs releases the music video from the album "Takin' Over" for the new single Dog Days. The video directed by Dutch collective The Flying Ducthmen, features lovely Tibbs's singer Elsa Bekman going around Amsterdam in a Audrey Hepburn mood.

"Dog Days" is the second single from the Tibbs debut album "Takin' Over" that came out in May 2016 on Record Kicks.

Based around Amsterdam and founded by a bunch of northern-soul and funk disciples, The Tibbs started in 2012 taking inspiration from the golden age of Soul Music. In 2014 they self-released a demo EP and they also released a 45 vinyl on German funk label Tramp Records.

After a few exciting years turning heads and spreading soul tunes all around the country - including appearances at the legendary North Sea Jazz Club and a live performances at national Radio 6 and Radio 2 - The Tibbs finally released their debut album on Record Kicks on May 2016.

Produced by Paul Willemsen (Lefties Soul Connection), recorded at the Electric Monkey Studio in Amsterdam using only vintage gear and mastered in Nashville by soul veteran Bob Ohlsson (the guy who took care of mastering for many Motown hits) Takin' Over is a hell of a debut album."
